At Biim, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our platform—whether you upload custom CSV datasets or use our integrations (including the current Meta integration and future integrations) to extract data in accordance with the respective platforms’ guidelines.
1. Information We Collect
• User-Provided Data: When you use our platform, we collect information necessary for its operation, including: o Personal Information: Your name, email address, billing details, and other personal information provided during registration or when updating your profile. o Organization Information: If you belong to an organization, we collect relevant organizational details. If you are not part of an organization, only your personal information is used.
• Data from Integrations: Our platform integrates with third-party services, starting with Meta, to automatically retrieve campaign reports, insights, and other relevant data. We collect only the information necessary to generate meaningful reports and analytics for your campaigns in compliance with the respective platform’s terms. This applies to both the current Meta integration and any future integrations we may implement.
• Uploaded Datasets: You may also upload custom CSV files containing your own data. These files are processed to generate embeddings and perform analysis.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for purposes including, but not limited to:
• Generating detailed reports and insights for your campaigns and custom datasets.
• Personalizing and improving your user experience on our platform.
• Processing billing and administrative tasks related to your account and usage.
• Ensuring the security, maintenance, and legal compliance of our services
3. Data Security and Storage
Your data security is our top priority. We implement robust measures to protect your information, including:
• Encryption: Sensitive user data (such as personal and billing information) is encrypted using industry-standard AES encryption. Decryption keys are stored on a separate, secure Mondelez Interna-onal Internal server and are not accessible from our database server, ensuring your data remains protected even if unauthorized access occurs.
• Embeddings Security: Data processed for analytics is transformed into embeddings—numeric vectors that are not human-readable. This adds an extra layer of security by ensuring that raw, sensitive data is never directly exposed.
• Access Controls: Only authorized personnel have access to your data, and we implement strict access controls and monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.
• Data Retention: We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Temporary data generated during report creation is automatically deleted after a specified period.
4. Integrations
Our platform integrates with external services to enhance its functionality.
This section outlines our approach to integrations:
• Current and Future Integrations: We currently integrate with Meta to retrieve campaign data, insights, and other related information. We do so in compliance with Meta’s terms and guidelines. In the future, we may integrate with additional platforms. In all cases, the integration will be designed to ensure that only the minimum necessary data is collected, and that it is used solely for generating meaningful reports and analytics for your account.
• Data Handling in Integrations: Data obtained through integrations is processed securely. For example, information from Meta is normalized and used solely to generate analytics and reports. The processed data is stored in a format (e.g., as embeddings) that is not humanreadable, providing an added layer of security.
• User Control and Transparency: You will be informed about the data collected via integrations and its intended use. Should you have any questions or concerns about our integrations, please contact us using the details provided below.
5. Third-Party Access and Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except in the following cases:
• Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform, provided they adhere to strict confidentiality and security requirements.
• Organizational Context: If you are part of an organization, certain data may be accessible by authorized members of that organization for service delivery.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. If you are part of an organization, please note that your organization may have its own policies regarding data access and management.
To exercise your rights or if you have any questions, please contact us at info@biim.com.co
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this page regularly. Your continued use of our platform constitutes your acceptance of any changes to this policy.
